Farmhouse buildings had been developed as 4 homes. They all discharged their waste water into a septic tank, which soaked away down the field.
A limestone quarry was unable to excavate further because of complaints of run-off water being polluted.
The Welsh Visitor Centre had a Yes Reedbed built in 2008.
